From the President
Welcome to Cambridge University Fencing Club.
CUFC is one of the University’s most active and welcoming sports clubs, bringing together complete beginners, experienced fencers, competitive athletes, and alumni. Whether you are picking up a weapon for the first time or looking to fence at the highest university level, the club offers a place to train, compete, improve, and become part of a close community.
We fence all three weapons and support members across every stage of their fencing journey, from our beginners’ course through to BUCS fixtures, Varsity, Novice Varsity, friendlies, and club competitions. Alongside training and competition, CUFC has a strong social life, with regular events, dinners, and opportunities to meet fencers from across the University.
We are proud of the club’s history, its rivalry with Oxford, and the role it continues to play in Cambridge sport. Most importantly, we are proud of the people who make CUFC such a lively and supportive place to fence.
Welcome to CUFC.
